Well after doing an exclsuive interview several days ago with music mogul Master P where he directly said he was on the Charlotte Hornets, imagine our surprise when we found out he got cut. That's right Percy Miller as Master P was known on the basketball court had confidently asserted that he was hanging tough with the Charlotte Hornets as a point guard. He had noted that he was in the best shape of his life and he even told our radio listeners to come see him play when the Hornets came to town to play the Golden State Warriors.

Immediately after the interview aired, sports fans began calling up and questioning the accuracy of Master P's statement. 'Had he really made the Charlotte Hornets'?, people asked. Well if Master P said 'yes', there was really no reason not to believe him. Folks were excited to hear the news.. I know I was. Unfortunately Master P's hoop dreams came to an end the other night when he was cut from the Hornet's 16 man roster with just 4 days to go into the season. Undoubtly there will be a lot of disappointed fans.

Sports enthusiast were insisting that Master P was not of NBA caliber. However, he was doing something right if he was able to hang with the team for as long as he did. We wish P much luck and hopefully something will happen and we just might see him in a NBA uniform crashing the backboards and making opponents go 'Uuuuuughn'
